Yorkshire Landscapes was founded by Dan Smith in 2012 in Victoria, BC. Dan was born in England, in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. He grew up on a farm where he developed a strong work ethic from a young age, growing produce and raising livestock. He later attended York St. John University where he graduated with a degree in Environmental Science. Dan’s love of the outdoors brought him to Canada in the winter of 2009 for a ski season in Revelstoke, BC. Soon after, he visited Victoria and fell for the city’s charm and the Vancouver Island lifestyle, and decided to make the city his permanent home.
After meeting with you to understand your vision, our team of designers will be able to create a plan with various design and budget options. Once we find the option that best suits your needs, our install team of landscapers, irrigation technicians, carpenters and masons will get to work. Throughout the process, our project manager will keep an open line of communication with yourself and the team to ensure your dream landscape project is delivered on time, on budget, without compromising our demanding levels of excellence.
