A core inspiration for this site was the Buren Perfumery gardens, a place the homeowners fell in love with when visiting Ireland. This stunning one-acre site is surrounded by pristine forest that contains a network of trails, established and cared for by the homeowners over many years. A babbling natural stream meanders through the property, connecting rockery built with ancient craftsmanship techniques. The planted spaces compliment the surrounding forest and offer interest at various levels of scale, with deciduous trees, flowering perennials, structural evergreens, and a multi-dimensional rooftop planting. Layered textures and intimate seating nooks enhance the sensory experience, blending seamlessly with the surrounding West Coast wilderness.
